Dear Bloomington AAUP Colleagues,

The election process for our chapter’s 2025-2026 Executive Committee is complete. We sent to this list announcements of the call for nominations on April 9 and of information on casting ballots on April 23. Ballots were sent to members on April 24.

The names of the 2025-2026 Officers and Executive Committee members are listed below. Per the chapter bylaws, they officially take office on July 1.

Chapter members cast 113 ballots, which represented about 65% of the membership as of April 23. Thanks to all of you who voted! Thanks also to Elizabeth Housworth, our election supervisor, and to all nominees who volunteered to run.

I take this opportunity to thank our colleagues who served on the 2024-2025 Executive Committee and are rotating off, some after multiple terms: Bob Eno, Past President; Elizabeth Housworth, Treasurer; Ben Kravitz, Vice-President; Sue Tuohy, Secretary; and At-Large members Erika Dowell, Israel Herrera, Michael Martin, and Carl Weinberg. The workload this past year was unusually heavy. These colleagues made valuable contributions to building a solid infrastructure of the chapter, to the active role the chapter played on campus, and to the membership growth we experienced.
