We’re sharing this Know Your Rights handout as a downloadable PDF (posted below) so IU faculty, staff, and students can quickly access it, save it, and share it when needed. It’s designed to help you think through what you would do, in advance, if you see immigration enforcement activity on campus or if agents show up at a classroom, office, or other university space.

This document is especially urgent right now because the legal and policy landscape is changing quickly in Indiana, including proposed/advancing state legislation (SB 76) that seeks to prevent universities and other public institutions from providing sanctuary to and protecting members of our community.

Please use and consult this resource whenever needed to help you plan and prepare, and feel free to disseminate to colleagues, students, staff, and community members.
