• December 5, 2025: IUB AAUP All-Members Chapter Meeting
  Join fellow AAUP members for a chapter meeting focused on celebrating this semester’s victories and mapping out the work ahead. Our chapter has grown rapidly over the past year, and this gathering is a chance to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together—and to get organized for the next phase of our advocacy.
• Press Release: IU is Not MAGA University
  On Friday at 11 am, the Indiana University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) will hold a press conference to declare its opposition to the Trump Compact for Academic Excellence in Higher Education, and to a series of actions by the upper administration that reflect a similar approach to higher education.  We will gather at by the statue of IU’s beloved president, Herman B Wells (Wiley Hall 015 in case of rain).

• October 4, 2025: Indiana Statewide Conference (INAAUP) Fall 2025 Meeting
  Join INAAUP members and supporters at our annual meeting. The event offers something for everyone, including: strategy session for our new campaign: All IN for Higher Ed, reports on the Summer Institute, Executive Board elections, delicious pastries, coffee, and lunch!
• October 3, 2025: IUB AAUP Town Hall
  Join us for an opportunity to discuss immediate threats to departments and programs, loss of tenure and productivity reviews, the erasure of DEI, and more. We will feature a few exciting speakers, followed by an opportunity for all members of our community to share their concerns and suggest actions that we can take.
• September 18, 2025: IUB AAUP All-Members Meeting
  Join fellow AAUP members for an engaging chapter meeting designed to connect, inform, and activate our academic community. This inclusive gathering welcomes all current members to learn more about our chapter’s leadership and ongoing work.
• September 5, 2025: AAUP & BFC Welcome Event
  Kick off the new academic year with fellow AAUP members at our welcoming social gathering! Join us for an evening of great music, meaningful conversations, delicious food, and refreshing drinks in the warm atmosphere of The Bishop.
