November 13, 2026: Town Hall on Academic Freedom

Town Hall on Academic Freedom
Friday, November 13 | 3-5pm | Woodburn 101

The freedom to teach and learn at IU has been seriously curtailed in recent years. Our town hall will address threats such as anonymous complaints and IU’s overcompliance. Speakers include Roger Innes (Prof. of Biology), whose lab was closed down by the Vice President for Research, and Jessica Adams (lecturer in Social Work) who was terminated after an SEA 202 complaint. We will then plan actions to help protect faculty from future attacks.

Please join us on Friday, Nov. 13 3-5pm, in Woodburn 101 for this important event!
